Christoph Neubauer is dedicated to researching historical architecture, concentrating on the significant and often under-researched buildings that shaped European history in the 20th century. Christoph Neubauer's extensive experience as a 3D artist enables him to bring lost architecture back to life. He places great emphasis on historically accurate representation in his reconstructions. His scientific reconstructions are already being used in various museums to better illustrate historical sites to visitors.
Christoph Neubauer's main work is the reconstruction of Berlin's historic government district. In this project, on which he has been working for more than 20 years, he reconstructs the 250-year history of this area. His work aims to convey a deeper understanding of architectural history, exploring the intersection of politics, power, and architecture. In this project, he focuses on buildings and spaces that emerged during a period of profound historical change and examines how they continue to shape Berlin's cityscape and historical memory.
Through his detailed 3D reconstruction of the Reich Chancellery, Neubauer gained unique insights into the building's construction history. He has published these findings in video documentation and books, as well as in lectures and exhibitions.
